Machines was founded in October 2006. 

There are 12 Machines stores situated within Klang Valley and 2 stores in Johor Bahru. Machines also expanded into the service industry and obtained an Apple Authorized Service Provider (ASP) license in 2007. 

Ever wonder where the name Apple came from? Steve Jobs revealed that at the time, he was on one of his fruitarian diets and had just come back from an apple farm. He thought the name Apple sounded “fun, spirited and not intimidating" and the rest, as they say, is history.
